When I had my article about Traveling and Destinations published in Bucket List Publications last year, many students asked me what “a bucket list” was. We watched the movie and they made their own bucket lists. Then they wanted to know what was on mine. I never make plans or lists but I didn’t want them to be disappointed, so I started thinking about one. The first item I could think about was moving to somewhere else. I had been living in Natal for about 11 years, but I wasn’t very happy about the way the city had been developing and growing without any planning. A few days later I received a call for an interview for a job position in Pipa. This beach was one of the reasons I had stayed in Natal for so long. It is 85 kilometers from Rio Grande do Norte’s capital and it is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. I got the job and moved to Pipa on December 1st. I have been living here for 2 months now. Every time I go to the beach and see the wonderful views, the dolphins and the crystal-clear-water I cannot think about anything else to do or anyplace else I’d rather be right now. Of course there are many places I want to visit and many things I want to do, but I’m so happy about living here that getting to check the first and only item of my “list” it is more than enough for now.
