Divorcing brings up dealing with child custody and support; spousal support and alimony laws; property distribution and/or – more and more common nowadays – debts distribution. Most couples make loans that are hardly paid at the due date when they are together; when they get divorced, their debts are usually bigger than their assets. Their standard of living falls. Children have to change schools and houses. Guilty parents try to compensate that, giving them anything they want, thus making more debts. Two different houses, double expenses, half of the income. Assets divided, half for the lawyers, half for the divorcees.
