People usually feel sorry for the singles and the last ones feel sorry for themselves as well. Most singles suffer from self-pity. Whose fault is this? What have I done to deserve it? Nobody loves me and nobody cares about me! What a pity! I could be a good parent! Who is going to take care of me when I get old? Those few singles, who feel well, end up feeling guilty about their wellness (Am I normal?), or they pretend to be unhappy just to please others.
Why is it so difficult for everyone to admit that there are people that live alone and are not lonely? Why does that bother people so much? Jealousy? Are they missing the “good old times”?
To get married or not to get married: that is the question. Think properly. Think about the pros and cons. Be sure you are not just following the flow or being afraid of ending up alone. Of course, if things get bad, you can get divorced. Even though divorces are more and more common nowadays, they still bring a lot of trouble and break hearts. You have to think even more carefully when deciding to have kids. You have to be prepared psychologically, mentally and financially for that. We must have the conscience that when we become involved with any other being (a partner, a child or even a pet) we are signing a commitment term of giving them our love, care and thoughts, of giving them our best. If you feel you are ready for that commitment, go for it. Conscious love is the goal.
